By signing up to enter - your number will be added to an event whats app group to receive session updates and plans for the duration of the event.

Competition Riders - Entires are now closed - you can join the reserve list and we will let you know if a space open up.
Rider enter knowing a running order will be decided 24 hours before the event and that the first possible heat is 7am on 1st October with a mandatory riders briefing 1 hour before. The competition could run (with prior notice) any day until 7pm on 5th October.
Prone and Wing disciplines will be be treated as separate sports (ie. wing only entrants do not need to attend prone briefings)

Non-competing participants can join sessions, demos and socials as and when they like.

Sign up and join us for the 2025 Kernow Foil classic

Operating mobile across various locations with a competition, demo village and schedule of socials the 2025 Kernow Foil Classic brings riders of all levels together to ride, compete, relax and meet.

Participation
Joining in is free and welcome to all levels. We simply require you to register through this form to sign out gear in the demo village and get added into a whatsapp group to receive updates about sessions, socials, demos and competitions.

Accommodation
St Ives Bay Beach Resort offer a range of accommodation options including camping pitches, static caravans, cabins and lodges.
Supporting the event they are offering discounted rates for KFC sign ups.
Prices start from £18 per night.
You will be sent a booking link and discount code after signing up.

Competition Entrance
Wing and Prone Foil discipline run to a judging criteria that focuses on progressive and critical riding on the steepest section of the wave

Riders will confirm their place by completing this form, making payment and following email instructions to complete a medical form.
They will be added to a contest mailing list and whatsapp group for updates and planning about the contest, sessions, demos and socials.
Riders will receive a rider pack registration prior to their skippers briefing.

Places are limited to the following):

F-One Prone Comp - Elite Men - 24 places
F-One Prone Comp - Elite Women - 24 places
F-One Prone Comp - Amateur - 40 spaces
Wing Elite Men - 24 places
Wing Elite Women - 24 places
Wing Amateur - 40 spaces
DW SUP showcase - 10 spaces (invitational)

Riders can enter both disciplines. We recommend early sign up. Entry will be closed 24 hours before the start of the event going ahead. Should riders need to cancel their place we can offer a 50% refund and deliver a riders pack to them, or riders can transfer their place to another rider up to 7 days before.
Prize giving will take place on the Saturday night social or sunday after completion of competition.

Divisions
All heats will be judged by a panel of professional judges.
The Elite division competitions will have 24 places and run in 4 person heats of around 10 minutes judging the best 1-2 wave riding performances with priority rules in place. Leaders progress through a repechage ladder to crown winners.
Amateur competitions will run with 10 person, 30-45 minute heats judged on overall impression with a second chance round to reach a final and crown winners.

DW SUP
For the first time in the UK we will run a downwind sup race. Due to logistics, licences and insurance we will run this as invitational.
We intend to open this up next year.
Applications from competent sup downwind riders are welcome.
